How much does ShiftBid bidding software cost?
We price our software at $500 per year, with $10/year per additional employee after 50 employees. So if you have 100 employees bidding, it would cost you $1,000 for unlimited bids the entire year. ($500 base rate plus 50 additional employees @ $10/year)
Does ShiftBID have an app in the App Store?
No, ShiftBID does not have an app in the App Store. ShiftBID was intentionally designed to be browser-based, so employees are not forced to download a dedicated app on their phone to do shift bidding. This saves space and prevents unnecessary storage bloat on smartphones.
What types of shifts can ShiftBID handle?
Our software is pattern-based, so nearly all shift types can be “programmed” into ShiftBid. We handle all rotating shifts, like 12-hour, 24-hour, Pitman shifts, DuPont Shifts, California Swing, Portland schedule, and 2-2-3 (and variations). We can also do fixed shifts (like 8-hour and 10-hour), split shifts, and on-call shifts. The software is extremely flexible, as you can build the bid based on your exact schedule pattern.
How many employees can bid at one time? Is there a limit?
ShiftBID software can handle thousands of employees bidding simultaneously. For the sake of staying organized, we sometimes encourage management to have different setups (also called “installations”) per location, depending on the circumstances. If you have a larger use case, reach out to our support team to get a setup strategy.
